Cindy Gordon

Cindy is vice president of new media and non-traditional marketing partnerships at Universal Orlando Resort. Prior to this role, she was the Resort's vice president for corporate communications and television development.

While at Universal Orlando, she has overseen the media announcements of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, The Simpsons Ride, and the Blue Man Group, among other attractions. In her TV development role, she has secured dozens of TV show placements for Universal, including The Today Show, the CBS Early Morning Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She has served as the company spokesperson on corporate matters.

Prior to joining Universal, Cindy was head of global communications for Dunkin' Brands, where she spearheaded the media launch of lattes and cappuccinos, dubbing the marketing handle, "Dunkin democratizes the once elitist espresso drinks." Before that she hailed from the auto industry, working for DaimlerChrysler on crisis communications and new car launches, most notably the Plymouth Prowler, PT Cruiser and the Dodge Durango.

Ms. Gordon received a pre-law bachelors degree from Tulane University, and did graduate work at Northwestern University in Chicago in advertising, journalism and economics.
